Jamba Juice
Today I heard there is going to be a Jamba Juice in the Union. Jamba Juice is probably the best smoothie chain in the world. Once Jamba Juice is open for business you won't have to buy overpriced 3000 calorie Smoothie King drinks when you want a smoothie.

I am glad you said "probably" with that statement. Obviously you have never compared a JJ smoothie and a Smoothie King smoothie side by side. There is no debate about which one tastes better, your taste buds tell you Smoothie King. That's what happens when you use only the best fruits and juices. In regards to a 3000 calorie smoothie, THEY DONT HAVE ONE! Besides, The Hulk smoothie is not meant to be used by the person who wants a 200 calorie smoothie trying to trim down. Smoothie King also has bigger sizes than JJ's and if you do the math the price is not that much different...especially considering the superior quality of Smoothie King. You need to get your facts straight and do a little more research into Smoothie King. Stop supporting a corporation who cares more about making the next buck than delivering a quality, nutritionally based product.

I was disappointed to read your thoughts on our local Smoothie King, but happy to see that one of our fans chimed in! My name is Paul and my wife and I own and operate the Smoothie Kings here. We live here in Champaign. Jamba is all corporate/developer owned.
I'd be happy to try and win you over with a free smoothie (one for the other guy/gal that commented too!), if you are so inclined. We have smoothies in all flavors and calorie ranges. Most are geared toward some type health benefit.
Our pricing is based on the cost of the fruit and other products that we put in our smoothies. They are expensive to make (the price of berries is outrageous these days).
